Curious about… ID:1, Konstakuten, SOC

ID:I, Konstakuten, SOC and Make it Happen. Several of the most interesting events in contemporary art take place outside the big institutions. In these ”alternative” places or projects people as well as forms of expression gather to enrich each other, for instance through music, art and debates. We have invited four of these meeting-places for a discussion about their activities.

Curious about… Mode Pipel

Wednesday the 27th of February at 18.00 – ca 19.30, followed by bar and music until ca 22.00.
Mode. Pipel and their friends talk about fashion as a cultural expression and a political force. Pipel is Maria Österberg Ben Saad and Stefania Malmsten, former fashion editor and art director respectively of the magazine Bibel. Pipel work with alternative strategies for communication in fashion and media. Pipel, who will be introduced by curator Niclas Östlind, discuss with a guest of their choice. Their film ”Glamour Part One: People”, dealing among other things with fashion as a strategy for survival, will also be screened.
